About TrustFlight

Focused on the aviation industry, TrustFlight’s goal is to digitalise all the necessary processes involve in aviation. To do this we have been working along different products and software interfaces, that not only cover the user needs but speeds up and automate some of their workflows.

Designing for TrustFlight

As part of the design team my specialty is focused on the UX/UI side. It is very rewarding to look back and realise that it has meant a great growth as a designer:

The design team
As a member of the design team it is very important to acknowledge what is your personal addition to the process, so you can make it as easy as possible for the others to work together; every personal discovery is also a team discover.

Design as a part of a bigger process.
Understanding how a primary well thought design is essential to reach success. The developer’s options and possibilities as well as the review’s from the QA team, helped me to understand how every decision that I take can be directly reflected not only into the final product but also into a smooth and synchronised process for the whole team.

Update myself so I dare to innovate.
As a design lover, knowing, understanding and trying all the new trends and innovation is a big part of my daily basis, but sometimes when working for corporative companies I have felt I had to be tight on the way I use the new discoveries. TrustFlight not only has encouraged and helped me to keep my skills up to date but also to put everything in practice. Our product is as innovative as we make it.

Usability but also efficiency.

My position in TrustFlight as a UX/UI designer has given me the opportunity to understand a whole new field, as it is aviation, and all the different users involved in the process of «making an aircraft fly».

Working on different products at the same time

Our services are part of separated products, sometimes with their own and totally different interface. Because of this it is important not only focusing on the usability but also on the consistency along the items. As we shape the concepts into a visual and a digital language we have to be very aware that we are also shaping our user’s minds. Libraries and consistent methodology when working across interfaces become a priority, so the users can also cross that same interfaces without having to learn a whole new system.
