Angostura is an alcoholic drinks company whose main product is a small and very easily recognisable bottle. Its famous aromatic bitters are used for flavouring beverages and cocktails.

Angostura’s main goal was to create a national social network campaign all throughout Spain capable of reaching a new public, while simultaneously making the brand image recognisable and memorable.

As well as being in charge of the designs themselves, I also had to work alongside the marketing team to figure out what was the best strategy to promote the brand.

 

Due to the Caribbean roots of the company, the campaign was focused on three well-defined concepts. It was important to reflect these concepts in every single facet of the brand, from the images portrayed to the messages they communicate, all the while passing by recognisable tags.

The other big part of the brand, as you may have already noticed, is the colour; the unique shade of yellow had to featured prominently everywhere.

We also created some animations in order to inspire the public with some easy and fun recipes to use Angostura. Fast-paced yet fascinating, you cannot scroll past until the recipe is complete!

Another important aspect of the campaign was calendar planning. We created promotions, contests and prize draws depending on the seasons and festivals, making sure that Angostura was present at the most important events of the year.

Once we mixed in all the ingredients and stirred the cocktail to perfection, we were ready to enjoy the results!
