while keeping theming in mind

Theming

The design system should allow us to quickly theme and create interfaces including the capability of being adopted by different brands.

Logical

Defining specifications by following patterns and logics. Thinking on the implementation over the tools used and their possibilities.

Scalable

It leaves the door open to keep creating and adding new assets that can be implemented in an intuitive way, while matching perfectly what we already have.
The Process

Avoids duplicity and misalignments while giving visibility to designers and developers. The main goal is to support while maintaining consistency

Creating a process

With new members joining the team, it was essential to have a guide on the different steps of creating components

Components Structure

Structuring and grouping components by function to have a better understanding of their requirements

Aligned to achieve consistency

Following the same steps helps to have consistency and alignment between designers but also developers
Components

Defining and building the essential elements of the UI library that enables the creation of interfaces to be automated

Reusable

Across interfaces, products and brands

Consistency

Follow the same patterns and style across different components and their behaviours

Guidance

Understand that communicating the system so the usage is consistent is essential for it be successful

Guidelines
