App design – Bookaffinity
Bookaffinity it’s an app whose main goal is to unify the concepts of «reading clubs» and «dating apps» through a common interest in the same book.
The idea stems from an already successful webpage about reading that the creators owned. Their aim was to redirect all these users from the webpage to the app.
Judging system:
This time it is not about judging the book by its cover, but by the person we are meeting through it. This concept needed to be clear on the design, that’s why every book was acompaigned ?? by its owner.
Map and location:
At the end (as any dating app) location was really important since users should be able to meet people who were physically close from their location.

APP FLOWCHART
It is important to understand the flow of the app. To understand the (recorrido) that the users would do through it.
As well as the common elements to all the screens.
The menu, and how this is going to work:
Two points to take into account when designing the menu:
– The visual design, it has to fit in all the different screens (with the exception of the pop ups).
– The usability level, it has to lead the user through all the app.
